Challenge Participants, I'm not ready to bring this to a close.

I'm the kind of person who likes closure.

We didn't get that, did we?

Would you be willing to stick with me just a little while longer?

I am committed to writing a post titled, "Day 31..."

But today is not that day.

Tomorrow won't be that day either.

I don't know when it will be, but God-willing, it will come.

Grief, it comes in waves. And I am navigating it.

I will not become bitter. I won't give in to complaining.

Satan doesn't deserve that kind of satisfaction.

My wrist band is back on.

I'm Seeing the Blue.

And I'll feel, what I need to feel, when I need to feel it.

Knowing that feelings don't last.

But precious memories do.

And true joy and hope can always be found in Jesus.

God knew I needed this challenge.

He knew what I didn't, He knows what I don't, and what I never will.

I trust Him to heal the past,

hold me in the present

and equip me for the future.

He was with me on Day 28.

He had already equipped me for Day 29 through 44.

That's today. Day 44.

And in case you didn't know it, He'll gladly equip you too.

You just gotta accept the help.

When in comes down to it, we are all promised the same 2 things:

our mortality

and our free will.

Speaking of free will, there are a couple of events right around the corner that I thought you should know about.

Is it okay with you if I mention them?

These won't be the right fit for all of you, but one of them might be perfect

for a few of you.

If I don't tell you about them, then you won't have the opportunity to decide for yourself - if you want to say 'yes' or say 'no.'

And I don't think that's fair to you.

So here they are. Click links for additional details:

1. FARRMS (Foundation for Agricultural and Rural Resources Management and Sustainability) is hosting a Holistic Financial Planning Workshop

on Friday, April 14th in Mandan, ND.

Our very own Joshua Dukart from Seek First Ranch is presenting.

This workshop is designed for those who have previous training and an existing business plan for their farm. This workshop is an opportunity for participants to refresh their knowledge on Holistic Financial Planning, receive personal assistance with their business and financial plan, and network with other farmers.

“I would suggest participating in Holistic Financial Planning to anyone.” says Quinn Renfandt, a North Dakota farmer who has participated in Holistic Financial Planning workshops, “It is by far the most intensive activity I do each year for my farming operation. No matter how much experience you may have, being real about money can be stressful, especially if you confront these situations alone. Thanks to programs offered by FARRMS, I was able to introduce myself to this new way of thinking with a group of cohorts who were just like me.”

"We support sustainable agriculture and strengthen local food systems in North Dakota and the Red River Valley. We grow farmers through education, peer support, and lending."
